Disclaimer

Even though many customers report an immediate freedom from pain, it may take a while ridding your tennis elbow / golfer’s elbow completely and of course it is also possible that the Masalo Cuff may not have the desired effect in your personal case. An epicondylitis is a serious medical issue and medical matters are always individual. The healing progress is dependant on many factors and differs for each patient. Therefore and for legal reasons we cannot and will not provide a healing guaranty. Some reviews have been translated from German.

Simply ingenious!

14. February 2022

I contracted acute epicondylitis while doing sports (pull-ups).

The elbow had already stung occasionally in the past, but it was temporary and did not require treatment. Then I got the injury, which also restricted me in my everyday life.

Since it is very difficult to get to the doctors at the moment due to Corona, I looked online. I found out about the Masalo cuff and ordered one.

After hesitating to wear it at first, only when doing sports or under heavy strain, I noticed that I was already looking forward to putting on my cuff. After this realisation, I kept it on day and night.

The discomfort is now much less. Whereas before it was very alternating. Every time I thought I was out of the woods, the next day was more painful again. You just have to get used to the cuff, it can take a few days, or weeks, but then the knot has burst and the injuries can finally heal completely.

Thank you very much, Mr Röder and family, for this great invention!

And also for the helpful tips here on your homepage.

Kind regards,

Martina Czasch

Hello Ms Czasch, thank you very much for your feedback. I also recommend that you wear the cuff as a prophylactic measure during sports and physically demanding work. Unfortunately, once you have had epicondylitis, it tends to come back… but you can avoid that. If it does happen, just put the cuff back on and it should be gone within a few days. I wish you all the best and stay healthy 🙂 Kind regards Harry Röder

I didn't believe it...

25. January 2022

Here is my feedback. I didn’t believe it would help. I have been wearing it since 17.4.2021 now and only now the pain is slowly gone after almost 9 months.

By the way, the whole thing came from playing the guitar. In the meantime I can play Masalo again, thank God.

Kind regards

Elmar Hopperdietzel

Response from Masalo.co.uk

Hello Mr Hopperdietzel, thank you for your feedback. It really did take an extremely long time for you. It rarely happens that it takes 9 months, but when it does, it almost always happens with golfers’ arms. However, playing guitar is also very stressful for the tendons. Anyway, we are glad that you finally got rid of the epicondylitis 🙂 To be on the safe side, I recommend that you wear the bandage as a precaution when you are going to be under a lot of strain, such as at work or in sports. Then you have protection and it is unlikely that the problem will occur again. When playing the guitar, I recommend that you also wear a few simple wrist bandages for protection. I wish you all the best for the new year, especially good health. Best regards Harry Röder

You have to be patient!

24. January 2022

I got tennis elbow in my left elbow in August 2021. It was so painful that I could no longer lift anything, even the lightest things.

After unsuccessfully resting my arm, doing stretching exercises and trying my luck with ointment, I went to the doctor in November. I continued with physiotherapy and it didn’t get any better.

Then they recommended the Masalo cuff, which I also got on prescription. The co-payment of 73 Euros is of course very high. After 4 weeks I noticed a clear relief. Today I still feel a slight pulling sensation, but it will heal.

I wore the cuff day and night. It is very comfortable to wear and does not disturb my sleep at all. I feel safe with this cuff.

If you have patience, this cuff will help you get better. A very clear recommendation to buy.

Response from Masalo.co.uk

Hello Mr Lippe, thank you very much for your report. Yes, that’s really true, you need patience until the “spook” is over again. Unfortunately, this is a characteristic that is not always so pronounced in us “epicondylitis candidates” 🙂 We always have something to do and it’s annoying when you can’t do anything without pain. On the other hand, it usually takes quite a long time for tennis elbow/golfer’s elbow to really set in. Often you notice something, then it gets better, then worse again, and so on – a constant up-and-down until you finally go to the doctor. Sometimes months can go by. But you are almost there, just hang in there a little longer and it should work just as well and pain-free without a cuff as with one. But I always recommend that you wear the support as a precaution when you are going to be under a lot of strain, e.g. at work or during sports. Then the tennis elbow won’t come back at all. If you forget and it comes back, put the bandage back on the same day. It should then return to normal within a few days. We wish you a good recovery. Kind regards Harry Röder

Super fast relief from pain

13. January 2022

Three days ago I got the Masalo cuff at Sanitätshaus Medicus in Niestetal and I am thrilled!

I’ve never written a testimonial anywhere, but I must do so here. I was able to lift my jacket again after two minutes with the cuff – before that, a pencil was already too heavy. And I can sleep pain-free now, even if it is a bit uncomfortable with the cuff. But it’s worth it.

I’m already looking forward to the further healing process – after 6 weeks of painless standstill (i.e. before anyone recommended this cuff to me), it’s great to feel my arm getting better every day.

Anny Hartmann

Response from Masalo.co.uk

Hello Mrs Hartmann, thank you very much for your feedback. It should be exactly as you write 🙂 You now have the best conditions for getting rid of your epicondylitis. Just please be patient. It will take longer until you are pain-free without a bandage and can put full weight on your arm again without a cuff. The cuff relieves the tendons, so you can put weight on the arm with the bandage again, but it will still take time to heal. When sleeping, loosen the cuff a little, circulation problems must not occur. Tendon and ligament injuries always take at least 6 weeks to heal, but tennis elbow/golfer’s elbow can take 3-6 months or longer, although golfer’s elbow is always the more persistent. Should anything be the matter, please feel free to contact us at any time. I also recommend our tips for dealing with epicondylitis on our website. This will help you get better faster and avoid further injuries 🙂 We wish you a continued good recovery. Kind regards Harry Röder
